CM03/04

Championship Manager 03/04 was the final instalment of the CM4 branch of the series, and it was the final EIDOS / Sports Interactive collaboration before the two parties split. I did not go on to play any of the later instalments of Championship Manager after this, preferring the Sports Interactive/Sega collaboration Football Manager as the rightful heir to the series. That said the game became increasing complex from this point and much more time consuming at a time when work and climbing commitments used up much of my free time, and only with the introduction of lightweight handheld versions of the game was my interest piqued in any of the newer products.
